How Cookies Crumble
Our cookies aren't cookie-cutter (pardon the pun)

Since our cookies are handmade there is variation in their size and shape and the content of chocolate, french toast, cherries, gingerbread or caramel in each cookie. For example a cookie that has a large lump of french toast in the middle will look lumpy compared with a cookie with smaller bit, but the taste is still the same - its the yummy goodness that is amazing!

Not all cookies look equal size wise but they weigh the same (read on)...

Because our cookies are handmade by lovely people and have yummy bits in them - chocolate, french toast or gingerbread in the dough - they don't all bake the same way or look the same. But rest assured every cookie is weighed to ensure that the tub of cookies you are getting is the weight it says it is. There will also be variation between batches of cookies because they are handmade but they will all roughly weigh the same and have the same yummy ingredients inside.

Eat right away! Or store your cookie goodness :)

Let's be honest all cookies taste best the day they are baked or soon after purchasing them. The best way is to store the cookies is to keep them in their packaging in a cool, dry place or pop them in the fridge. Want to keep them a while? Pop them into a freezer bag and place in the freezer for up to 1 month. You can reheat them in the microwave for 10 seconds or add them to ice cream.

Has the packaging been opened? Once opened, store cookies in an airtight container (by flavour if possible) where they will taste fresh for up to 1 week, or in the freezer for up to 1 month. Is your cookie a bit dry and hard? NO PROBLEM! Dampen a paper towel and wrap it around the cookie. Microwave on high for 15-20 seconds. The cookies will absorb some of the moisture from the paper towel.

Have baked cookies that aren't packaged and that you want to stay fresh at room temperature? Stick a slice of bread in the airtight container with them to keep fresh for up to 5 days (as the cookies begin to dry out they will suck the moisture from the bread to keep fresh while the bread becomes stale!).
